Terms and Conditions:

  1. The promoter of this Members Club Competition is St. Mary’s GFC, Ardee, County Louth (hereinafter referred to as “the Club”)
  2. There is no limit on the number of entries/memberships that an individual can purchase.
  3. An adult may buy one in Trust as a gift for someone under 18 years.
  4. St Mary’s GAA is established and conducted for no purpose connected with gaming, wagering or lotteries.
  5. The prize is as stated and no cash alternative will be made available.
  6. The prize is a Carnaby Oakdale mobile home (38 x 12 x 3 bedroom en-suite model). A further cash amount of €8,000 will be included as part of the prize as a contribution towards the purchase of a pitch in caravan park and any associated transport, installation and connection fees. The organisation and choice of Caravan Park will be entirely a matter for the winner as will the transport of the mobile home from retailer, the installation and any associated works in relation thereto.
  7. The Mobile Home and cash prize will be available for collection from PC Duggan Caravans of 116 Aughnagar Road, Galbally, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. Immediately once the winner has been informed that they are the winner and must be collected within 30 days otherwise the Club reserve the right to retain the prize and the prize will lapse thereafter.
  8. Entrants may answer a qualifying questions as follows: ‘What is the capital of Ireland’? Only correct answer will be allowed entry to the draw.
  9. The Terms and Conditions herein set out should at all times be read in conjunction with the St Mary’s GAA Club Rules (hereinafter referred to as “the Club Rules”) for the time being which are available on request.
  10. The Terms and Conditions herein set out are at all times governed by the Laws of the Republic of Ireland.
  11. The charitable purpose of the Competition is to raise funds for the benefit of developing and enhancing the St Mary’s GAA Club and the facilities for the said Club. The organisers of the Competition shall not derive any personal profit from the Competition.
  12. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR):
    -The Club will retain and use the Member’s personal data for the duration of the membership and for a reasonable period thereafter as required.
    -On purchasing Membership each Member agrees to the use of his or her details being used solely in connection with this Competition and their Membership of the Club. Personal data of any kind will not be disclosed to a Third Party without the Member’s consent.
    -The Winner hereby agrees and consents to the use of his or her personal data and/or image being released in publicity material in conjunction with the Competition.
    -The Winner hereby also agrees and consents to his or her personal data being released to relevant third parties to effect the transfer of the Mobile Holiday Home to him or her.
  13. All Members are at all times for the duration of their Membership subject to the Club Rules. By purchasing Membership each Member thereby agrees to be bound by the Club Rules and the Terms and Conditions herein set out.
  14. Any notice, announcement, information or bulletin in relation to the Competition whether public or otherwise or wheresoever published is only intended to be a notice to the Members of the Club and is not intended to be nor directed to any other persons whatsoever.
  15. All disputes, differences and questions of any nature which at any time may arise between the purchaser of a ticket and the organisers of the Club’s ‘Win a Holiday Home’ draw shall be referred to an independent arbitrator to be nominated by the Chairman of the Club to determine the dispute, differences or issues.
  16. Once purchased no refunds will be issued except in the event of cancellation of the draw.
  17. A maximum of 4995 (Four Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety Five) tickets are available and will be sold.
  18. Neither the Club nor any of its servants, agents, licensees, trustees, committee members or the organisers of the Competition of whatsoever nature or howsoever appointed shall be liable to the Members for any loss, inconvenience, damage or expense suffered by the Members participating in this Competition.
  19. The Club shall not in any circumstances be liable for any loss suffered due to any issues in the construction of the mobile holiday home and neither St Marys GAA or any member of the Committee of the Club shall have any liability to the winner of the Competition.
  20. The Club shall not be liable for any failure in the performance of any of its obligations if caused by factors outside its control.
  21. St Marys GAA reserves the right to cancel the Draw/Raffle and if for any reason the Draw shall not proceed, members who purchased membership tickets will be refunded the sum of not more than 90% of the purchased price (the balance of the draw funds being retained by St Marys GAA to defray expenses incurred in the running of the draw; your subscription for membership and a ticket shall be deemed to be a consent to this retention) and St Marys GAA shall not be liable in respect of such cancellation save to the extent of the refund.
  22. The Club does not warranty nor confirm the state and condition of the mobile holiday home in any way. The Club nor any of its servants, agents, licensees, trustees, committee members or the organisers of the Competition shall be in any circumstances liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience or expense suffered by the Winner in relation to the state, condition, repair or construction of the Property.
  23. Once purchased, Membership is non-refundable except in circumstances where the competition is cancelled by the Club. In that event a maximum amount of 90% of the purchased price will be refunded to Members.
  24. The minimum number of Ticket Holders required for the draw to take place is 3500 ‘Three Thousand Five Hundred’ (“ the minimum number of Ticket Holders”). If, within 48 hours of the draw taking place, the number of Ticket Holders is less than the minimum number of Ticket Holders, the Draw shall be cancelled or postponed as St Marys GAA sees fit and arrangements made as soon as reasonably possible thereafter to refund not more than 90% to each of the subscribing members if cancellation is the option chosen.
  25. Mobile Home winners will be responsible for all their own legal and other costs involved in the registration, transport, installation, connection and ongoing maintenance of the mobile home and the property with the caravan park/camp site where they choose to locate the mobile home. The sum of €8,000 is being provided as part of the winning prize as a contribution by the Club towards these costs.
  26. The Club decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the competition or the competition result.
  27. After the draw has taken place and the Mobile Home and cash prize of €8,000 has been handed over to the winner(s), the club will have no direct or indirect financial interest in the said mobile holiday home and will be free from any encumbrances in favour of the club.
  28. The photograph of the property is for illustration purposes only. The winner(s) of the “Win A Holiday Home” competition shall accept the fit out and finish of the mobile holiday home as handed over.
  29. The ownership of the mobile home will transfer immediately to the winner(s) upon collection of the mobile home by them from PC Duggan, free from any legal or beneficial interest, entitlement or encumbrance in favour of the Club.
  30. As soon as the mobile home has been collected by the winner or their nominated transport company then full and complete responsibility for the mobile home transfers immediately to the winner(s) and they are advised that they should have organised insurance for the mobile home in advance of collection of it.
  31. Errors and Omissions Excepted. The Club its servants, agents, licensees, trustees, committee members or the organisers of the Competition accepts no responsibility whatsoever whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission, interception or communications failure, for unreceived, late, missing, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected claims, entries, applications, Memberships or otherwise.
  32. The Club reserve the right to change the date of the draw due to any unforeseen circumstances.
  33. The Club reserves the right to cancel the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Club’s control. Any changes to the Competition will be advertised as soon as possible by the Club.
  34. The Club reserves the right to add additional prizes to the Competition. The addition of any such prizes will be notified to all members of the Club and participants in the draw as soon as practicable once added to the Competition and will also be made available on the following website
  35. The Competition draw will be held in the St. Mary’s GAA Club Rooms on the 25th day of July 2021. The Club reserve the right to postpone and re-arrange the date of the draw at their sole discretion as many times as they require or see fit. The draw will be broadcasted by the Club on their Facebook page and all members and participants in the draw will be entitled to log in and witness the draw being made.
  36. The winner will be announced within 7 days of the completion of the draw by email and/or telephone and/or text message and/or other social media platforms as decided by the Club.
  37. In order to claim the prize, the winner must contact the Club by email and/or post and/or social media platforms and/or text message and/or in person at the Club’s Club Rooms in Ardee.
  38. The winner maybe subject to verification by the Club and confirmation that they have complied with the within terms and conditions. This process may take up to 7 days to complete once the winner has been announced.
  39. If the winner cannot be contacted via one of the above means of communication or does not claim their prize within 14 days of the notification of same, the Club reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.
  40. The draw is open to Members only. However, anyone may become a social member of St. Mary’s GAA. Application and payment for a ticket for the draw will also comprise application for social membership of the club until this draw has taken place. A copy of the Club rules will be provided upon application.
  41. The cost of membership and entry to the draw is €29.50 but as a special offer, the club is making the first 1000 entries available @ €23.50 and the next 1000 entries available @ €26.50.
  42. The Club reserves the right, at all times, to amend the compensation and the terms and conditions set out herein and to include further terms and conditions as they shall deem required. In purchasing membership of the Club, each member consents and agrees to be bound by the said amendments. The Club further reserves the right to cancel this Competition for any reason, whatsoever. The cancelation or any changes to the Competition or to these terms and conditions will be notified to the members and participants as soon as practicable in relation thereto.
  43. The Competition is open to Members of the Club aged 18 years and over only. Any Memberships purchased by persons under the age of 18 years shall be declared null and void and shall not be included nor deemed to be included in the Competition. Any such entry entered into the Competition Draw will be declared invalid and another ticket will be drawn in its place.
  44. The winning prizes are non-transferable.
  45. The Competition will be implemented and conducted by the Club. The preparation of entries for the final draw and the final draw will be independently observed by an Independent Adjudicator as appointed by the Club. The Club Chairperson will decide who the Independent Adjudicator is to be. The Club will maintain books and records recording all entries into the Competition and all costs in relation to the Competition. The said books and records will be audited by the selected Independent Adjudicator within 14 days of the draw taking place. The identity of the Independent Adjudicator will be notified to all members on the Club’s website in advance of the draw.
  46. The winner will be responsible for all costs associated with the upkeep and maintenance of the mobile holiday home once they have taken possession of the holiday home and the Club accepts no further responsibility in respect of the mobile home once it has been handed over to the winner.
  47. The Club are aware that a number of tickets entered in the draw have the names of minors(under the age of 18) on them however the Club is satisfied that all tickets have been purchased for those minors under the age of 18 by an adult in trust for minor person named on the ticket, in compliance with the Terms and Conditions of the draw. The Club will only provide the prize to the Adult who purchased the ticket in trust for the named minor within the time limits set out in the Terms and Conditions of the draw and it will be a matter for that Adult to hold the winning prize in trust for the said named minor and the Club takes no further responsibility in the administration of the trust should a named minor be selected as the winning ticket.
  48. The draw will take place on the 18th July 2021, 4,995 tickets will be in the drum and the number ranges are from #0001-#2500 and #2611-#5105
